Stephen Tanzers International wine cellar 89

1999 Domaine/Maison Louis Jadot Pommard Rugiens Medium red. Tangy aromas of musky redcurrant, Cuban tobacco and chocolate. Shows a lovely restrained sweetness yet is already quite aromatic in the mouth. Complicating notes of stone, iron and tobacco. Rather suave and classy Pommard. Finishes with subtle persistence and noteworthy complexity. 89
