2009 Louis Jadot Beaune Boucherottes Louis Jadot A Pinot Noir Dry Red Table wine from Les Boucherottes, Beaune, Burgundy, France Source Reviewer Rating Maturity Current (Release) Cost Wine Advocate #194 May 2011 Antonio Galloni (90-93) Drink: 2016 - 2024 The 2009 Beaune Boucherottes (on the border with Pommard) shows gorgeous vibrancy in its dark wild berries, violets and sweet spices. The aromas and flavors literally explode on the mid-palate. A big, broad-shouldered wine, the Pommard impresses for its powerful, authoritative personality and superb balance. Sweet, balsamic nuances linger on the textured finish. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2024.

2009 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Les Boucherottes (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru) View From the Cellar, 11/1/2010, Nov/Dec 2010, John Gilman 93 The 2009 Boucherottes from Louis Jadot is the finest young vintage of this cru that I can recall ever tasting here. The nose is deep, pure and very vibrant, as it jumps from the glass in a blend of black cherries, dark berries, complex soil tones, woodsmoke, fresh herbs and a touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very long, with great focus and balance, ripe, suave tannins and great bounce from sound acids on the long and intensely flavored finish. The backend of this wine is stunning, as it really takes off from the mid-palate back. Great juice. (drink 2020-2060)
